Resiliency and Leadership Event April 25th & 26th

The BAMC Medical Library will be hosting a resiliency and leadership event at Putnam Auditorium on April 25th, and again at the Ft. Sam Houston Base Theater on April 26th. Our guest will be Dr. Jeff Barnes, author of the Wisdom of Walt book series. For more information on Dr. Barnes, visit his website: The Wisdom of Walt.

We invite all BAMC and JBSA staff to attend. Dr. Jeff Barnes' lecture will discuss how you can become a better leader by observing lessons of failure that Walt Disney and the Walt Disney Corporation experienced.

Day 1: April 25, 2024. Putnam Auditorium, BAMC, 4th Floor near elevator/entrance A

0800-1515 Dr Barnes will be speaking on topics of Resiliency, Courage in Leadership and Leadership.

Day 2: April 26, 2024. Fort Sam Houston Military and Family Readiness Center, 3060 Stanley Rd, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234

0800-1430 Dr Barnes will be speaking on topics of Resiliency, Courage in Leadership and Leadership.

Both days will discuss the same topics and content, so pick a date that works best for you and your team. 

Please invite your team members and encourage max participation. No reservation is required, but a RSVP is appreciated so we can get an idea of the head count. Seating is first come first serve and subject to the capacity of the venue.

Covidence is a tool designed to streamline the process of conducting a review such as: Systematic review, Meta-analysis or other detailed review for publication) Covidence allows at team of researchers to work together to screen results, complete data extraction and assess risk of bias. 

Please contact the medical library if you would like to create an account and begin creating reviews.
